Xin's Story
Xin was born and grew up in China. She experienced the miracles of Traditional Chinese Medicine on herself and her family.
When she was seven years old, she had a stubborn high fever that didn't go away for about one week. Her parents got worried and took her to the emergency room at night. The doctor inserted a couple of needles on her head under the occipital bone and the neck. About 15 minutes later, the doctor removed the needles and her fever was gone.
Back in 1990, Qigong helped her get rid of the extra pounds that she gained from childbirth and restored her energy. She has been practicing Qigong ever since. Two years later when her first son got very sick, the herbs formulated by Dr. Zhizhen Li saved her family and brought balance and harmony back to her beloved child. From then on Xin started studying Chinese Medicine in China.
After moving to the United States, Xin worked on her Bachelor of Nutrition and Master of Oriental Medicine degrees at Midwest College of Oriental Medicine in Illinois. She also earned the Diplomate of Oriental Medicine from National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) by satisfying all requirements of the Commission, including passing all the four Board Tests – Foundations of Oriental Medicine, Acupuncture with Points Location, Bio-medicine, and Chinese Herbology.
Xin is warm-hearted and hard working. She gives each patient at least 45 minutes for each session. Patients experience the health benefits that Xin’s treatments bring to them, so they introduce their family members and friends to Xin.
Xin has a busy life. She sees patients, gives free lectures in local libraries and online to promote self-caring knowledge. At the same time, she reads books, takes Continue Education classes, practices Qi Gong and Tai Ji, and also cook healthy food for herself and her family.
Xin wishes everybody happy and healthy. She is here for you if you need help.
